As we get closer to the Christmas period, for most manufacturers, this can be their busiest period. The festive season can see production lines running at their highest levels in order to meet the demand of retailer’s customers. For some manufacturers, current production lines may need to be added and amended to meet production targets.
Across our three facilities (SNB Sherburn-In-Elmet, SNB Luton and SNB Bathgate) we have hundreds of different sized checkweighers, metal detectors and combination systems. These refurbished rental units can be hire on different periods and also purchased.
As well as the rental equipment, for our metal detectors we stock a variety of aperture sized search heads. This enables SNB to alter rental units to suit customer requirements.
At SNB, we have Validation Units that can be added to upgrade any new or current inspection equipment. Validation Units can help your production to achieve retailer codes of practices with optimum performance.
Some of our Rental Inspection Equipment have an SNB Validation Unit attached to the unit. If you are looking to meet specific retailer requirements and are considering renting a unit, SNB can help your production to meet any COP’s.
Whether new or existing, any food manufacturers are welcome to rent a metal detector, checkweigher or combination system from SNB.
If you are a new customer, all we ask is that a Proforma is paid for the first few weeks and accounts are set up accordingly. Once paid, one of our engineers will come to site to deliver and commission the unit.
Existing customers can access our inspection equipment on current standard terms.
The process of getting a rental unit on your production line could not be easier.
To start, our sales team will need details regarding the following
With all these details, our sales team can look through our current rental stock and quote accordingly.
For customers that are able to send any product in, SNB engineers can run trials to indicate the types of sensitivities units may achieve.
Customers that decide to proceed with a stock number will need to provide a PO and sign a rental agreement.
Once all signed and ready to go, our team will book a date and an engineer will deliver/commission the unit. On the day, our engineer will show operators the basics of the machine, provide test sticks and provide a calibration certificate for the rental.
Those that have a unit already on rental and would like to purchase can enquire with our sales team at any point of the agreement. Whether this be an outright purchase or a hire to buy where on the 52nd payment, the ownership is transferred across.
