SNB Metal Detector Systems are designed and built in-house at our Manufacturing Facility in Leeds, with key components being manufactured at our Electrical and Engineering Facilities in Luton and Bathgate. Industry experienced Engineers will take comprehensive measurements from your site where and whenever possible to assist with meeting requirements.

Our conveyor systems and frames are designed to increase the performance of your Metal Detector. We have experienced CAD Engineers to design your Metal Detector System.

All of our Metal Detector Systems are built to meet or exceed your specified retailer requirements. You can choose to include an SNB Validation Unit that brings new and existing Metal Detectors up to standard or higher level retailer codes of practice compliance.

How Does Our ‘New Build’ Process Work?

Your production line can have a brand new inspection equipment system in six simple steps.

• 1) SALES – The process starts with a call or meeting with you. We will ask a few questions regarding the products that will be inspected, any retailer specifications your factory is working to and the environment of the production line.
• 2) QUOTE – From gathering all the information needed and from speaking with our design team, we will send you a formal quote based on your requirements.
• 3) CAD – Once everything has been agreed on the quote, our CAD designers will draft a CAD design. This is drafted three days of your business being satisfied with the quote.
• 4) BUILD – After the CAD has been approved by yourselves, our workshop engineers will get to work! Our workshop engineers will start to piece the system together starting with the frame working all the way through to adding the belts and guards.
• 5) PDI – We invite all our customers to a ‘PDI’ (Pre Delivery Inspection) at your local SNB office. This gives our customers a chance to see their machine prior to delivery day.
• 6) DELIVERY – The final step is the delivery and commissioning of your newly built machine. One of our engineers will attend site to commission and show your operators how to use your new detection system.

                                    

What is included with a new Metal Detector System? 

All our new Metal Detector systems are supplied with the following

• A 12 month manufacturer’s warranty for parts and labour
• Test pieces for your application and Certificates of Conformity
• After commissioning, SNB will provide a calibration
• The relevant Instruction Manuals and Documentation for your new unit
