SNB design and build robust Pipeline Metal Detection Systems in line with the latest retailer codes of practice. When choosing a Pipeline Metal Detector System from SNB our aim is for it to meet or exceed the key targets specified in your production requirements, engineering and quality standards. All SNB Pipeline Systems are designed and built in-house at our Manufacturing Facility in Leeds. Our components such as electrical enclosures or aluminium fittings are manufactured at our Electrical and Engineering Facilities at Luton and Bathgate.
Our Pipeline Systems are designed to maximize the performance of your Metal Detector. We have industry experienced CAD Engineers that will design your system, framework and all other parts specified such as reject enclosures and guarding. SNB frames are manufactured with 3mm wall Stainless Steel box or tube section for strength and stability. This increased rigidity of our frame design assists with the overall performance. In conductive product applications such as meat, poultry and fish sectors Metal Detection Systems are commonly set to compensate for large product effects and cannot compensate vibration effects at the same time. For instances where this is the case, the performance of your Metal Detector will be affected by vibration and movement resulting in detrimental sensitivity performance. SNB assess each application and design the systems with the maximum strength for your application.
Pipeline Metal Detection Systems commonly need to be highly mobile in order to move around various pumps and fillers in a single production environment. Regular movement for cleaning is required also. Traditional designs are often top heavy and can lead to systems tipping over when catching floor drains or other production hazards. Our design of Pipeline Metal Detection System are much more robust with a low centre of gravity. This design has a designated area for containment of rejected material. Telescopic options for alternative product feed heights are available.
We recognise that this type of Metal Detector is often subject to the most stringent cleaning requirements. This means the IP rating of the system is critical. Water ingress is a common failure of existing Pipeline Metal Detection Systems in industry, therefore we highlight and protect all our designs to keep ingress to a minimum without compromising on hygiene.
SNB can offer new and existing customers Pipeline rental units for both short and long term periods. All our rentals are hired out to manufacturers on a first come first serve basis.
If you would like a Pipeline Metal Detector system to rent, SNB would need to know product details and any details regarding factory environment.
Those proceeding with rentals can have units delivered and commissioned by an SNB engineer. The engineer will also be able to show your operators the basics in using the stock unit.
