Metal Detector in UK – Thermo Apex 100 from SNB Electronic Services

For the last 15 years, SNB have been able to offer customers across the United Kingdom refurbished units for rental, hire-to-buy and purchase. Due to high demand, SNB continually build new stock units to be hired. SNB Stock number #920 was been built at the SNB Sherburn in Elmet at the end of 2021.

#920 is a Thermo Apex 100 metal detector with a head aperture with the dimensions 550mm wide by 350mm high. The head has been constructed from stainless steel, making it suitable for harsh factory environments. This Apex 100 has a dual frequency head which can be set at 100KHz or 300KHz.

The conveyor on #920 is also constructed from stainless steel and has an overall conveyor length of 2000mm and a height of 850mm. Additionally, the conveyor belt is a blue modular that hands from left to right. #920 is constructed onto standard feet that can be changed by 50mm -/+ and requires a supply voltage of 240V 1 phase 16A.
