Needing a metal detector for bulk products ASAP?

Back from rental is stock number #675, a Thermo Apex 100 Metal Detector. This particular unit has an aperture 550mm wide by 350mm high (however, please note the clearance on this unit is around 29mm/300mm due to the decking). The head is dual frequency and tuned to 100KHz / 300HZ. Also, the head has a stainless steel finish.

The head is mounted onto a conveyor 2000mm long which has a blue modular belt running left to right. On detection of a contaminated product, the metal detector has an Alarm Belt Stop reject which notifies operators through the use of a beacon and a sounder.

All our systems have short lead times and can be rented for a period suitable to your needs. If you have sample products, we can run tests at our Head Office in Sherburn In Elemet to determine best sensitivities prior to delivering the unit to site.
